Territory Business Lockdown Payment Program

Important notice

Territory businesses that have been approved for the Lockdown payment (round 4) will be automatically assessed for the additional Small Business Payment. The Small Business Payment is available for businesses that are unable to operate due to Chief Health Officer directions for a period longer than seven days.

The Small Business weekly support payment of between $1,000 and $4,000, will be measured by turnover to reasonably reflect the need for support.

A fourth round of the Territory Business Lockdown Payment has been established to provide immediate financial support to businesses during the current lockdown period.

This payment is an amount of $1,000 and those eligible will need to submit an online application.

Impacted businesses from the lockdown areas can now apply for the payment, even if they accessed a payment in the third round.

Businesses that are ordered to stay closed during an and extended closure period by the Chief Health Officer, including but not limited to gyms, indoor and outdoor markets, indoor public swimming pools will be able to apply for an additional one-off $2,000 grant.

To apply for the extended closure payment, businesses must be eligible to receive the immediate one-off payment of $1,000.
